HVM already have Mexican racer and Midland F1 hopeful Mario Dominguez on their books for the 2005 season and with Ryan Hunter- Reay being confirmed at Rocketsports, have a much sought after vacancy. "I am ready for it. It has been a long time, also for my fans," Verstappen's personal site reports the Dutchman as saying. "We have made the first step. The preparation is not optimal but I will show them what I'm worth. I want to compete, so with good lap times I want to convince the team that I am the right man for the job." Meanwhile former Rocketsports race winner Alex Tagliani has been handed a lifeline as he has been announced as a Walker Racing driver for the coming season. Tagliani's seat at Rocketsports is expected to be taken by former Jordan driver Timo Glock who enjoys backing from Deutsche Post's Speed Academy.
