It would appear that Ernesto Viso's deliberations over which team to drive for in next year's GP2 Series will lead him back to the UK, with iSport International the favourite to land the Venezuelan's signature for 2006. source: crash.net Viso ran with Paul Jackson's team at the last group test at Paul Ricard and, despite having been linked to both former employer BCN Competicion and Italian frontrunner Coloni, seems likely to move back to England in order to prepare his assault on the series' title. Rumours suggest that a deal has already been struck between Viso and Jackson, which will see the Venezuelan slip into the car vacated by Toro Rosso F1 graduate Scott Speed next season. Speed finished third in the 2005 point standings - holding off ART's Alex Premat by the smallest of margins after Viso fended off the Frenchman for second in the final round - and that could be enough to see Viso retain the #5 entry that he ran with BCN in 2005. Viso is already familiar with Jackson and some of his team, having become acquainted during his spell in the British F3 Championship prior to his F3000 graduation in 2004. Speed's pace and reliability - even though the American did not win a race this season - appear to have been the power behind Viso's decision to plump for iSport, although his end-of-season performances lifted him ahead of the blue machine at Spa and Bahrain.
