While Justin Wilson is waiting for his Formula One future to become clear, he
will be kept occupied with another CART test drive for the Newman Haas team,
the successful outfit with whom new Toyota driver Cristiano da Matta won the
2002 title with.
The young Brit is expected to fly to America in the coming weeks to try out
the CART contender at the Sebring circuit in Florida. Bruno Junqueira has
already been confirmed with the team for 2003, one of a handful of drivers
still remaining in the series at the current time.
Wilson is hoping to secure one of the empty seats with the Minardi F1 team
after a recent seat fitting confirmed that his 6ft 3 frame would fit into
their 2003 challenger, however he needs to come up with at least 2 million
pounds in sponsorship to make it happen.
