Tom Dillmann (Rapax) takes his first GP2 victory in the second round presented in Bahrain on Saturday.

Dillmann classified in ninth place at the end of race one, but Felipe Nasr, who took seventh position, was penalized for ignoring the yellow flags. Tom Dillmann moved up to eighth position, so had the opportunity to start from pole position in race 2.

The Rapax driver had a good start, and opened up a gap in the first laps, leading at the halfway mark with a seven seconds margin. But the Frenchman began to struggle with his tires, which helped Luiz Razia (Arden) catch up to Dillmann in the closing stages.

But Dillmann was able to hold off the Brazilian driver to claim his first GP2 win ahead of Razia and Davide Valsecchi, still the championship leader.
