While American muscle cars are currently en vogue among car collectors, European classics have hardly gone out of style. Drive a 1957 3500 GT down the strip and watch admirer's eyeballs pop and feet scramble to get a closer look.
For just this reason Maserati, now owned by Ferrari, is offering a Vintage Personalization Program for the new Maserati Spyder. Announced at the tail end of the New York Auto Show's media days, the Maserati "Vintage" personalization package has been specially designed for the current Spyder.

Visual links to the previously mentioned classic are evident in its upgraded elements, including very nicely integrated chromed side fender vents. Adding to the look is a chromed wire-mesh grille, a front Maserati Trident with hand-painted red accents, chromed door handles, and silver colored brake calipers framed by special "ball polished" alloy wheels. Inside a distinct gauge cluster is finished in racing light blue with 1950 style digits.
It's also possible to add chromed side mirrors and chromed roll bars, while Maserati trident adorned aluminum racing pedals, aluminum finished central console, door trim and paddle shift levers can spice up the beautifully finished interior yet more.
