Fortunately, it's the coupe
Honda vehicles have always been at the top of my list, for a variety of reasons. I like the quality of the assembly, their relative reliability, and their great value. However, style and, admittedly, driving enjoyment aren’t always up to snuff.

Fortunately, the Honda Accord Coupe offers, be it ever so slightly, that driving enjoyment I seek. And its style, though a little slapdash since the redesigning a few years ago, isn’t all bad. Something that can’t be said for the sedan. But, thankfully for me, I was driving the coupe…

Portly
Since Honda rethought the Accord’s calling, the vehicle gained a couple extra centimetres around the waist. Of course this makes for a more comfortable cabin, but the slightly portly profile doesn’t do justice to the sporty personality this coupe is supposed to have.

However, I have to say that the extra attentions paid to the coupe in terms of style are a success: the nose is longer and looks more aerodynamic than ever, while the roof line seamlessly and sensuously blends into the tail end.

Head lamps that look a little smaller than the sedan, and especially a more assertive belt line, create an arrow-like profile. A beefy arrow, but an arrow nonetheless!

Naturally, being a coupe, the cabin doesn’t offer the same level of comfort to all its passengers. The poor souls in back will have to suffer to climb into their seats, and their smile will be forced for the entire length of the outing, despite the relative comfort of their perches.

The front occupants, in contrast, have more than enough room, and the comfortable, leather-clad seats feature so many adjustment possibilities that drivers will easily find a position suited to their driving style.
