Every model of the convertible, 2-door Vitara is also comes with Suzuki's Drive Select 4x4 system, but there's also a JA trim to this line for price reasons.

For $17,795, you get the JA trim with the 1.6-litre engine, a 5-speed manual shifter and an okay collection of standard features. No automatic transmission is available on this trim.The JX trim in the convertible starts at $19,995, which includes the 2-litre engine, the 5-speed manual and a few more amenities than the JA gets.

Anti-lock brakes can be added to the Vitara for $800.
