While minivan-functional the Kahuna shows Dodge's funky fun side, in sharp contrast to the powerful looking, performance-oriented concepts that filled its 2003 display. (Photo: Trevor Hofmann, Canadian Auto Press) |
Of course the Kahuna won't appeal to everyone. I've already read derogatory reviews by journalists who just don't get it, probably from the east coast or something. To me though, the Kahuna is all about having a little fun with your source of transportation. It's about opting for the boots with the chrome zippers up the side instead of a pair of black brogues. After all you've got to wear something on your feet but your shoes don't have to be boring. Dodge is just trying to tell us neither does your car.
