And the stereo sounds great too, with ample boom to get the groove out and a user friendly interface to appease the nerves. Its traditional-style 3-dial HVAC control panel is also beyond easy to operate, allowing energies to be focused on the more important task of driving. With that in mind the seats are wonderfully supportive, driving position excellent for enthusiastic input and upgraded white-faced gauges easily legible and visually stimulating.

Simulating? Don't kid yourself the R/T is a blast to drive. Its 150-hp high-output 2.0-L 4-cylinder continually begs to go faster and faster without showing any signs of chassis overwhelm. Take hold of its tilt-adjustable leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel and point the little car exactly where you want to go. No matter the speed, within reason, turn-in is lightning quick and body roll next to none. The sport-tuned suspension is fully-independent, absorbing pavement irregularities with aplomb and hardly ever getting out of joint during fast sweeping curves or tight, twisty, undulating stretches.
