Mitsubishi has taken a note from the previous Nissan Skyline, and has fitted a retractable LCD display system to show the car's vital statistics live and on demand, but the system can also be used for the car's DVD Navigation and DVD audio system. Navigation? A fancy sound system? As you can tell, this is no ordinary EVO. Meanwhile, those riding in back may be pacified from the wild on-road antics of the driver via two LCD screens incorporated into the backs of the front headrests.

that despite financial doldrums, Mitsubishi's designers, engineers and product developers have hardly thrown in the proverbial towel, but rather are still very much on the ball, producing vehicles - concept or otherwise - that are extremely tempting. Insiders claim that the Concept-X will go through to production vastly unchanged, news that should sure please all who favour this new design language.

One thing that Canadian enthusiasts are hoping for is that Mitsubishi checks and then double checks all EVO X standards to ensure that it's best and brightest will finally be available in our market. While the automaker's PR team guarantees that the car will indeed be sold north of the forty-ninth, I, for one, am not willing to get too excited until I see it in my local dealer's showroom.
