The 2006 Dodge Charger is a marketing hit, and will bring fame and fortune to DaimlerChrysler once again this year as it will probably sell like hotcakes. A few years ago, after the merger between the Chrysler Corporation and Daimler-Benz, the head offices in the Chrysler Building started to fill with people whose names you couldn't pronounce correctly without spitting. All of a sudden, the merger looked more like a takeover and Americans were furious, feeling betrayed by the Germans. However, the results we are now seeing from this association, whichever way you consider it, is impressive. With german-engineered chassis and mechanical components, as well as American-engineered interior and exterior styling and packaging, not to mention powerful engines including raging Hemis, the Dodge Charger is a winner.
What I like:It's got the looks
Smooth and powerful V6 makes a Hemi unnecessary
Excellent handling
What I don't like:Frustrating automatic door locks
Interior could look sportier
A-pillars block visibility
