Comfort and quality
The suspension is well calibrated, handling is surefooted and comfort is undeniable. The steering, on the other hand, is little responsive; I would even go as far as to say that it feels disconnected from the road. On the flip side, I noticed a significant improvement on the braking front: the binders are stronger and have a higher endurance level. Meanwhile, the transmission has also been improved. It allows smoother, more precise shifts.

The interior is user-friendly and the seats are nicely supportive.

Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system remains one of the best in the industry despite the ever-growing competition. What surprised me the most is the fact that the Legacy achieves a fuel economy of 10.68 L/100 km, which is quite a feat considering the size and weight of this wagon.

Wagon vs SUV
With such an impressive fuel economy, storage room to spare and one of the best AWD technologies on the market, this Subaru is an interesting alternative for those who seek to replace their SUV.
