Those seats look awesome!
They are. Front occupants sit low in the cabin, and the suede and leather sport seats are worth their weight in gold. They're exceedingly comfortable, very supportive and I don't remember having ever been in a better seat on this side of a six-digit price-tag.
Must ride hard with those big wheels?
Nope, very comfortable on the highway- even with twenties. Quiet too. Nice stiff but not jarring ride, sporty without being uncomfortable, if you will.
Light 'em up!
No can do. The big sticky tires and electronic throttle take care of that. Nail the pedal from a stop and you'll get a tiny chirp before the Daytona rockets away. Decides, the free-flowing exhaust is far more pleasurable to listen to than squealing tires.
Two too many doors! That ain't a Charger!
Don't get your mullet in a knot. Old Charger owners who outgrew tight acid-wash jeans and have been able to have families will find ample room for 2 or 3 kids in back of the new model. They'll be far more safe and comfy than in an older Charger, and there's a good sized trunk too.
Decides, all the old Charger fans at Cruise Night said, after being near the Daytona for a while, said that it "grew" on them. Rightly so- it's like the old one in that it drinks, smokes and scratches itself in public, though it's got family fun built right in.
Want a coupe? Wait for the Challenger.
Gawk factor, killer looks
Roomy, comfortable and well bolted down interior
Performance exhaust sounds positively wicked
Family friendly and docile when driven gently, comfy ride
Best seats ever
Steering needs more feedback
Rear blind spots when reversing
Where is the manual gearbox?!?!?

Which one is the real Charger? They are both Chargers. Looking for a 2-door, wait for the upcoming Challenger. |
