Naturally, safety enhancements like these are important in a luxury vehicle, but so are creature comforts, and as I have said before "that's pretty much a given with any M-B model". However, with the company adding such features as the Harmon-Kardon Logic7 Surround Sound Audio System as standard on all E Class models, the level of luxury just keeps getting better.
From the moment you slide into the driver's seat (10 way power adjustment, including lumbar), the vehicle oozes luxury from it very pores. Simply moving the turn signal stalk, or twisting a ventilation control knob inspires confidence, because the quality is right there in the touch and feel of the components.
Mercedes-Benz has always prided itself on surpassing its buyer's expectations, so all of this shouldn't come as a surprise.
However, if you are looking for one of those, then let me tell you about the performance of the E320 Bluetec diesel. Now don't start to giggle. Diesel powered vehicles can actually perform. In fact this one can reach 0-100 kph in just 6.8 seconds!
Just in case you missed that or thought that it was a typo, I'll give that number to you again...6.8 seconds!
Think about that for a moment. That is in the realm of many sports cars today. In fact, there are several on the market that wish that they could boast those kind of performance figures.
So there you have it. If you were looking to purchase a luxury four-door automobile in the near future, I'd call it a no-brainer. If you can afford the initial purchase price, you'll receive phenomenal fuel economy, truly impressive performance, and when it comes time to sell the vehicle on (which should be many years down the road), you'll get an excellent return on your investment.

Not in everyone's price range maybe, but in my mind, a very fair price for what you get.
