Interior Comfort
Inside the LX 570, five can sit in luxury while three others who are relegated to the third row will have to settle for merely comfortable. Entry and exit to the third row is easier than in most SUVs because of the generous cut of the rear door. Legroom, while good is still not up to the standard of the second row. Those in the second row will have first-class space, including a heated seat and air conditioning outlets, but will have to do without the stewardess.

All stereo and climate controls are in the centre stack and can easily be reached from either seat.

If you are in the front seat, you will get to luxuriate in a heated or cooled seat, depending on your needs. Seat cushions and seat backs are long and provide excellent support without making the occupant feel restricted. All stereo and climate controls are in the centre stack and can easily be reached from either seat.

Driving Impressions
The driver will have the latest in buttery-smooth controls with the throttle being one of the smoothest. Throttle tip-in is progressive so that you do not get that sudden jump off the start. You can move out very quickly, but you do have to use your right foot more than in many other SUVs. This trait comes in handy if you happen to be creeping along and need to smoothly get over a deadfall or rock that is in the way.

Such smooth throttle response also keeps everyone inside relaxed and unaware of what is really going on. The LX 570 is as comfortable and unassuming at 130 km/h as it is at 80. This is one vehicle with which cruise is a necessity, particularly if you want to keep your license.

The LX 570 cannot claim to be nimble given its size, but it isn't a barge either. Getting in and out of tight parking lots or parking spaces just means that you have to pay attention to what you are doing. The turning radius is on the large side as it is with all four-wheel drive vehicles, so U-turns take a bit of practice.

Getting about in town is quite easy with the driving aids that are included with the LX 570. Blind-spot warning lets you know if there is a car in your blind spot when you want to change lanes. There is a backup camera as well as a beeper for when trying to judge how far you can go to fit into the last parking space.

The LX 570 isn't for everyone, but you should try one. You may find that you like it!!

The LX 570 cannot claim to be nimble given its size, but it isn't a barge either.
