Nissan's mini-ute is fun and functional
Road manners are sporty, solid, responsive and well planted- and Rogue feels alive at the fingertips with car-like agility. Combined with a great view of the road ahead, there's a safe and secure feel that's energetic and fun at the same time. A nice balance of SUV and sporty sedan, really. It's all good news in the handling department, though a smaller turning radius would have been appreciated.

Rogue is a model geared towards the safety and performance-minded shopper.

From the outside, Rogue sets itself apart with a distinctive fascia, alloy wheels, roof rails and bits of chrome for a sophisticated and unique look that carries the family crossover DNA proudly. It's like a miniaturized Murano, though some will find Rogue's styling easier to digest.

For 2009, Rogue pricing spans from about $23,800 for a base front-drive model and approaches the mid thirties with all the goodies- including leather, premium audio and a sunroof. Ultimately it's most worth a look if you're after above-average levels of equipment and fun to drive factor in this marketplace.
