The all-new 2011 Hyundai Elantra made its North American debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
This compact sedan sports a radically new shape with sleek lines inspired from the Korean automaker's Fluidic Sculpture design language, which also gave birth to the new Sonata and Tucson.
The new 2011 Elantra sedan is equipped with a 148-horsepower, 1.8-litre engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
This fifth generation stands out with generous equipment levels, including some luxurious amenities that used to be exclusive to high-end models, including a navigation system with a back-up camera as well as heated front and rear seats.
The 2011 Hyundai Elantra will hit the Canadian market early next year. Production takes place in Montgomery, Alabama.
