THE 2010 PARIS MOTOR SHOW
Proved to be the place to gear up for recovery!
Despite demonstrations, transport strikes and the blocking of fuel storage facilities, the Paris Motor Show clocked up 1,263,467 visitors before closing its gates.
It remains the show with the highest attendance worldwide .
With a record number of world premieres (over 100) , top quality booths, a sizeable sector devoted to new fuel taking up over 13,000 m², a vintage exhibition showcasing manufacturer heritage and many innovative events, the 2010 Paris Motor Show was indeed the quality show to gear up for recovery.
This edition was also exceptional in terms of contacts made and orders placed for exhibitors of which there were many more than in 2008.
At the test centres, especially the EDF electric vehicle trial track and the BNP PARIBAS eco-driving circuit, over 11,000 tests were carried out (twice as many as in 2008).
The show enjoyed bumper media coverage all over the world, with over 13,000 journalists from 103 countries , over 120 hours of TV and radio reports in France and over 5,000,000 hits on the show website.
