If you want the ‘real’ paddles shifters on the wheel (and by real I mean the upshift on the right downshift on the left) instead of the push-pull type on the other steering wheel then you can’t get it heated. I would take this style of wheel and not worry about it.
I love the Launch Control feature that comes as part of the Sports Chrono Package. This feature is what will literally propel this car off its mark. I find myself an empty parking lot and decide to play with it. Press the Sport Plus button on the dash, put your left foot on the brake, put your right foot hard onto the gas pedal and the revs hit about 5,500rpm and the ‘Launch Control’ illuminates on the steering wheel release the brake and you literally launch forward.
Porsche styling has always stood out and is recognizable anywhere in the world. The provocative low profile, prominent headlights and gorgeous rear wheel wells are all seductive styling marks associated with Porsche. This year, upgraded exterior styling includes LED running lights, larger exhaust tips, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and updated taillights keep it looking like the sexy beast it is!
Porsche cup holders are not the greatest – but they do their job.
Back seat? There is one, but I would only recommend it for small children. If you are really concerned about having room for four – get the Panamera. Use this back seat to hold your purse.
I drove the coupe version of this car last week and the Cabriolet structure still feels very solid. I don’t think I would be giving anything up in that department to choose to go with the topless version.
Owning a Porsche 911 has been a dream car for many people since the first generation Turbo came out in 1975. With so many incredible improvements and upgrades, badge appeal and drivability, there are many good reasons why this car is on my list! Top up or top down, rain or shine, this is one fantastic car!
