At a special event held last Saturday in South Korea, Hyundai finally revealed the specifications of the upcoming 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe engines. It looks like we’ll be treated not only to a more contemporary-looking ride, but to a much more potent one as well.
The base models will once again call on the services of a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder with direct injection. The new and improved mill will put down 271 hp and 274 lb-ft of torque.
The 3.8L V6 will also be back, but this time with direct injection as well. The additional technology will allow the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe to generate a whopping 345 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque making it more powerful than a Chevrolet Camaro or a Ford Mustang V6!
