Pros and Cons*
Pros

The comfort level and quiet interior are the epitome of American luxury vehicle know-how. The sophisticated all-wheel drive system and numerous standard features make it a very attractive proposition.

Cons
Complex system controls and a striking physical resemblance to its Ford stablemates in design and name do nothing to help MKX sales.

Price
The MKX, which starts at $47,850, is available in all-wheel drive only. The 100A option package includes heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, Sirius satellite radio, infotainment centre with dual USB ports and SD slot, leather-covered steering wheel with integrated system controls, dual-zone air conditioning and HID adaptive headlights.

The 101A option package brings the MSRP to $51,550 and distinguishes itself with a sight and sound package, navigation system, THX audio and panoramic sunroof.

Fuel Economy
Fuel economy ratings are an estimated 12.1 L/100 km city and 8.7 L/100 km highway.

Exterior Styling
Cousin of the Ford Edge, this luxury crossover has its own unique, refined style. The oversized vertical-fin front grille, fluid lines, 18-inch polished-aluminium wheels and rear spoiler reinforce its sporty aspirations.

Drivetrain
The 2013 Lincoln MKX is powered by a 3.7 litre V6 that delivers 305 hp and 280 lb-ft torque which drives all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.

Cargo Capacity
Trunk-only volume is a generous 914 litres, expandable to 1,942 litres by lowering the rear seats.

Safety
This Lincoln is equipped with six standard airbags, a passenger detection system and seatbelt monitor that provide an extra level of safety.

Comparable Models
