As previously announced, the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel will hit Canadian and American markets this summer.
The compact sedan’s new 2.0L turbodiesel engine produces 151 horsepower and 264 lb-ft of torque, with 0-96 km/h (60 mph) acceleration in 8.6 seconds and a class-leading 4.2 L/100km on the highway.
“Our global engineering expertise was leveraged to develop a world-class, low-emissions engine to offer Canadian and U.S. customers a car that’s both fun to drive and practical at the pump,” said Marc Comeau, vice president of sales, service & marketing for Chevrolet in Canada.
Starting at $24,945, the 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel's emissions will meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) stringent Tier 2 Bin 5 emissions standards. It also features MyLink, 17'' alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and leather seating surfaces.
