The entirely aluminum-built 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has shed some pounds, and, consequently, is a lot easier on gas. With a whole range of engines to choose from, this comfortable SUV also offers a 5+2 seating configuration as an option.
Cons
According to some*, the Rover’s off-road capabilities leave a lot to be desired and its dashboard is a little dated.

A 3.0L 6-cylinder engine powers both the SE and HSE, producing 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.
You can also choose a V8 for this model. This 5.0L 8-cylinder engine delivers 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque.
The 4WD is coupled with an automatic 8-speed transmission.
Cargo capacity
The 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport offers 958 litres of cargo space in the trunk with the rear seats up. Fold those seats down and the space available jumps to 2,013 litres.
Safety
The 2014 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is outfitted with six airbags.
The SUV can be equipped with an array of active and passive safety devices, including adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera.
