Koenigsegg unveiled the all-new Regera today at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This hybrid supercar posts some mind-boggling numbers including more than 1,500 horsepower, 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and 0-400 km/h in 20 seconds (the Bugatti Veyron takes 55.6 seconds to reach that speed).
For the first time ever, Koenigsegg's portfolio will include two different models. The Regera will have a production run of 80 units. Pricing has yet to be announced.
Under the hood is a 5.0L twin-turbo V8 engine made in aluminum and mated to a Koenigsegg Direct Drive transmission. Two 180kW electric motors (one for each rear wheel) and a 620V battery pack complete the Regera powertrain.
Equipment includes smart airbags, a detachable roof panel, automated hood and trunk opening, 6-way power-adjustable sport seats in carbon, leather upholstery, Apple CarPlay, and anti-theft alarm.
