Pros: Toyota has applied significant improvements to the road handling characteristics of the 2015 Corolla. Soundproofing is improved and the interior has expanded, mostly in the rear. The familiar 4 cylinder engine is now mated to a CVT transmission for improved fuel economy. The electric rack and pinion steering system is fairly precise.

Cons: Although fairly precise, as mentioned, the steering system offers little feedback. Mechanically speaking, Toyota has not increased the engine output, as the 2015 Corolla accelerates quite noisily. We must point out that the outdated 4-speed transmission offered on the base model does nothing to quite the engine.
