The new 2017 Chrysler Town & Country, which will enter production at the Windsor assembly plant next February, will feature many new technologies according to Automotive News. The list includes available Open 'n Go foot activation for the sliding doors and rear liftgate, along with USB ports in each of the three rows of seats.

Under the hood of the new Town & Country, look for an upgraded 3.6L Pentastar V6 mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission for the first time. A plug-in hybrid variant will join the lineup later in 2016, not to mention an AWD model using an electrically powered rear axle for added traction when needed.

The interior will feature a redesigned Stow 'n Go seating system that folds into the floor more easily, plus FCA’s 8.4” Uconnect infotainment system.

The release date and pricing for the 2017 Chrysler Town & Country have yet to be announced.
