The 2017 GMC Acadia, fresh from its world premiere in Detroit, made its Canadian debut this week in Toronto. It will go on sale this spring at a price that has yet to be announced.
Engineers managed to reduce the weight of the big crossover by 700 lbs. Under the hood, they made room for a standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine or an optional 3.6L V6. What’s more, 5-, 6- and 7-passenger configurations are available.
The new Acadia offers up to 2,237 litres of cargo space (with all the rear seats folded). In addition to the base model, GMC will sell the luxurious Denali and rugged All Terrain models.
