Unveiled at the 2016 Miami Auto Show earlier this year, the new 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo is on sale now at Nissan dealers across Canada.
This upscale, performance-oriented version boasts an all-new 1.6L Direct Injection Gasoline turbo engine that produces 188 horsepower, which is about 50% more than the 124 horsepower of the standard Sentra SR's 1.8L non-turbo engine. Buyers can pair it with a 6-speed manual transmission or the Xtronic CVT with manual mode, both tuned specifically to the SR Turbo engine.
What’s more, the suspension and steering systems were revised, the body was reinforced, and larger disc brakes were installed up front. Of course, the exterior and interior get sportier treatments, as well.
