Japanese automaker has confirmed it will produce some tS editions of its BRZ for the 2020 model-year. For the moment, the plan is to produce 300 units exclusively for the American market.
What about north of the border? At the moment, Subaru Canada has received no confirmation it could share with us. Recall, however, that 100 units of the 2018 tS edition were made available to Canadian consumers, in a year when the U.S. market received 500 units. If Subaru follows the same pattern of distribution for 2020, that translates into 60 units for Canada.
Revised by the magicians at WRX STI, the tS gets somes performance-enhancing modifications, namely revised dampers and coil springs, a more-flexible V-brace in the engine compartment and draw stiffeners for the chassis and sub-chassis. The brakes are also getting upgraded with the inclusion of four-piston Brembo calipers in front, and two-piston units in back.
The 2020 Subaru BRZ tS will only be available with the Ceramic White colour and matte bronze 18-inch wheels, on which will be fitted Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
