"Audi has a Grand Touring coupe once more," said Diego Ramos, Executive Vice President of Audi Canada.
It's called the A5, and it rides on a new platform which promises top notch driving excitement, safety, and of course the all-season operation of Quattro all-wheel-drive.
As a styling exercise, A5 manages to deliver the traditional sophistication the brand is known for alongside a unique and energetic design that communicates excitement, power and elegance. A 2+2 seating configuration sits under a swooping and graceful roofline which flows effortlessly into the body of the car.
A5 is powered by a 3.2 litre V6 engine with Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI) technology that enables optimized mileage and performance. Horsepower is rated at 265, and a six-speed manual gearbox handles shifting duty. A six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission will be available shortly after launch.
Standard features include three-zone climate control, a large powered sunroof, 10-speaker stereo system with 6-CD changer, heated seats and a push-button parking brake. Outside, LED-strip running-lights set off the fascia, and 18-inch wheels come standard as well.
The new A5 coupe will arrive in a showroom near you by the end of March.
