A marketing campaign by Mercedes-Benz for the new movie ''Sex and the City''

On May 30, 2008, "Sex and the City" fans will be able to admire the latest product from Mercedes-Benz. The automaker got the green light from the movie production company to feature not only a Mercedes-Benz S550 sedan but also the all-new 2010 GLK-Class.

This new compact SUV combines a unique blend of styling, versatility and performance, just like the four actresses in the film (Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis). All of them are world-famous fashion icons. NYC's Fashion Week, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, will serve as the backdrop for some scenes.

The manufacturer also took advantage of the movie release to launch a global microsite on the 2010 GLK. A link to "Revealing the GLK" went online at www.mercedes-benz.ca on April 28. This microsite immerses users into the Big Apple at night, where they can take a tour of the city with the new GLK. It also includes comprehensive information on the vehicle, exclusive photography, video specials from the film and downloadable content.

The new GLK-Class will be available in Canada starting in January 2009.
