Then, the body and headlights are aligned. Any option specified by the customer, like a sunroof, is installed after this step.

The ZENN is currently sold in the U.S. and British Columbia. In Quebec, it will retail for $15K-$16K. Three options are available: a power sunroof ($895), climate control ($2,000) and a CD player ($195).

People will be able to purchase their ZENN directly from the factory in St. Jerome. A showroom will soon be built next to the production facility to serve customers. Depending on the demand, Mr. Allard is even hoping to sell the car in big box stores.

The folks at ZENN are certainly not short on ideas. Several other projects are in the works, including a mini-SUV. Mr. Allard is very much looking forward to this next vehicle, which will sit four and offer a range of 400 kilometers, with a top speed of 100 km/h. That said, the most impressive aspect is that a full charge will take less than 15 minutes.

ZENN Motor Company is finally ready to take orders from Quebecers. Look carefully and you might just spot one on the road in the next couple of months.
