The 2010 AMA Pro Racing SuperBike series visits the legendary Road Atlanta road course this coming weekend after two exciting rounds in Daytona, and Fontana in California so far this season.

A good part of that action will be coming from Canadian teenager Brett McCormick aboard a Jordan Motorsports Suzuki GSX-R1000. McCormick will be aboard a machine similar to the one ridden by series leader and double winner at Daytona Jake Zemke, replacing the injured Aaron Yates for two rounds, this one and the upcoming round at Infineon Raceway.

One of the youngest riders in the field, McCormick will be discovering the complex Road Atlanta track aboard the quickest machine he has ever raced. This does not bother the rookie. “The bike has more variables to tune than Canadian Superbikes, and that will be the key to good results. The track layout flows well, with only one really tight area, and I like the power.”

Stay tuned for results over the weekend.
