Andros Trophy: Alain Prost leads 2nd day in Val Thorens

Alain Prost (Dacia Duster) dominated the second day of the inaugural round of the 2010-2011 Andros Trophy in Val Thorens.

After Bertrand Balas on Saturday, the former four-times Formula 1 World Champion was the quickest on Sunday.

Driving a Dacia Duster Silhouette, Prost dominated the qualifying rounds and won his final to take the overall win of the day and the championship lead.

Canadian Jacques Villeneuve kept on learning ice racing behind the wheel of his Skoda Fabia.

The 1997 F1 World Champion took 14th position in qualifying heats, then 6th place in his final. He finished 14th overall at the end of day 2. He now stands in 10th position in the provisional championship standings.
