ARCA: ''A Frenchman in NASCAR''

This is the surname he uses on the social medias. Frenchman Michel Disdier is about to take part in inaugural event of the 2013 ARCA Racing Series  at Daytona International Speedway with Cunningham Motorsports.

Disdier will be on hand to drive the Cunningham’s No. 77 car during the official ARCA test at Daytona from December 14 to 16 before contesting the 200-mile race in February.

The last time the 38-year-old Frenchman drove a stock car was in 2009 when he made 8 starts for Bowsher Motorsports after having made two starts the year before ; one at Salem Speedway and one at Toledo Speedway.

Disdier progressed through the French Motocross Series, Formula Renault, Formula Ford, Formula 3, Formula 3000 and Ferrari Challenge, including a Formula France Championship in 1999

.

"I am excited to join Cunningham Motorsports this week in Daytona, where I have already raced in 2007. We will have time to really work on the car, since we will have three days of testing, which has never happened since the beginning of my career," said Disdier.
