The GT3 moniker stands for great and important things such as performance, weight reduction and speed, lots and lots of speed.
The new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Special Edition is all of the above plus, yes plus, only 100 will be made so it’ll be exclusive as well.
As such, the AM V GT3 SE will be powered by a 600 horsepower 6.0L V1 that will also produce 460 lb.-ft. of torque. The transmission will be a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual that will allow the car to hit 100 km/hr. in only 3.7 seconds.
The GT3 has shed some pounds, 100 kg (220 lbs.) to be exact thanks to the use carbon fiber door, hood and roof along with a polycarbonate rear window. Other exotic go-fast niceties including 19-inch forged alloy wheels, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, track-tuned suspension, a carbon fiber propeller shaft that leads to a limited-slip differential.
The cabin will be replete with carbon fiber, Alcantara, leather and an infotainment system with navigation.
Sadly, the GT3 will not be sold in the US. As such, won’t make it to Canada either.
