Aston Martin Works has commissioned six limited-edition sports cars to celebrate 60 years of production. All of them are based on the current Vanquish (in either Coupe or Volante form) and created in association with Aston Martin’s Gaydon-based design team as well as its ultimate customization service, Q by Aston Martin.
Each car is tailored to reflect one of the six decades being celebrated. The result is a collection of rare and ultra-desirable sports cars that will be instantly recognizable as “Works 60th Anniversary” models.
The first one was revealed on December 12th at the company's Christmas celebration, which also kicked off 12 months of anniversary activity at Aston Martin Works. It features Anniversary Yellow side strakes and alloy wheels, a white body, and a 6.0L V12 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration in 3.6 seconds.
Prices for the six cars are available on application at Aston Martin Works.
