The Formula Atlantic series will be back in action for the second weekend in a row and it will be the first time that an event will be held at the Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City.

Apart from Dan Cameron and Kevin Lacroix, none of the drivers present has ever race on the 4.5-miles, 24-turn circuit.

Veteran Jonathan Bomarito is still leading the championship but not with a comfortable margin as rookie Jonathan Summerton is trailing by only 16 points with two events to go. Another rookie very much in the race is Markus Niemela being just 6 points adrift Summerton.

To allow the drivers to familiarize themselves with the complicated circuit, the promoters have planned a series of free practices that will be held this Thursday.

Walker Racing's Kevin Lacroix concedes that even though his has ride the circuit before, he will use those extra practices to try and learn all the turns which is, according to the Quebecers, the key for being successful there.
