9- The return of the 5.0L Mustang
Okay, so driving a 5.0L V8-powered Ford Mustang won't make you friends with Mother Nature, but this back-to-the-roots move by the Blue Oval has been hailed by most if not all fans of the iconic muscle car. Enjoy it while it lasts, though, because with ever-rising fuel prices and the launch of increasingly high-performing electric vehicles, gas-guzzling sports coupes like this one might not survive very long.
10- Goodbye Cobalt/Cavalier/Sunfire; hello Cruze
Among the brilliant changes at GM was the introduction of a remarkably-built, exceptionally-thrifty and high-value sedan that favourably compares to the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. The Chevrolet Cruze will definitely make consumers forget about the old Cavalier, Sunfire and Cobalt, which greatly disappointed in terms of quality. Clearly, GM's positive media response and success in the stock market are much more than meets the eye!
