Billionaire crime-fighter Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego, Batman, head up one of the most well known movie franchises of all time, and the latest installment is scheduled to hit theatres this July.
The latest Batman movie, called 'The Dark Night', will mark the return of the Lamborghini brand as Bruce Wayne's choice of transportation when the Batmobile is parked in the garage. This time, he's driving the sexiest Lamborghini sports-car to date- the Murceilago LP640. Check out the movie's new, extended-length trailer for a glimpse of the machine prowling the streets of Gotham City.
The LP640 delivers crushing performance from a 640 horsepower V12-engine, and can reach speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour.
"The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 is the natural choice for Bruce Wayne's other car," stated Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "Lamborghini is proud to be associated with one of the greatest movie franchises in history, especially co-starring with the night-bound Batmobile."
Batman enthusiasts will also remember the Murceilago Roadster's appearance as Bruce Wayne's ride of choice in 'Batman Begins' in 2005- after the Italian supercar builders marketing agency secured a deal to have the car's on-screen debut take place in the film.
The Dark Knight hits the big-screen on July 18th.
