Chevrolet unveiled the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition this week. The car borrows key components from the Z06 and ZR1 models to create the fastest and most capable drop-top in Corvette history.
Powered by the almighty 427ci LS7 engine from the Corvette Z06, the 427 Convertible produces 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque through a 6-speed manual gearbox only. It rides on 19'' front and 20'' rear wheels wrapped in Michelin PS2 tires, just like the ZR1.

The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition will make its public debut at the Barrett Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Jan. 21, 2012. It will arrive at U.S. dealers early this summer.
