A customized 2006 Cadillac DTS owned by Warren Buffet sold for $122,500 USD during an online auction last week. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Girls Inc. of Omaha, a charity long supported by the Buffett family.
The bidding started at $10,000 and reached more than $60,000 after a few hours. With about 30 minutes left, only two bidders fought to get their hands on the rare item, and the winning bid totalled $122,500.
The anonymous buyer (for now) will get a car that bears Buffet's signature on the dashboard, and it will be delivered to him by none other than Buffet himself.
