The 2011 Automobile Journalist Association of Canada (AJAC) award winners have been announced. These are some of the top honours a manufacturer can receive in Canada. This morning, the recipients were proclaimed at the Canadian International Auto Show held in Toronto.

The process to get to this point is a long one but serves many purposes. From Test Fest, which takes place in the Fall, 70 journalists evaluate all-new or significantly revised vehicles and determine which are the Best New Vehicles in eleven categories.
From that point, the top three finalists in each category are determined and announced at the Montreal Auto Show and here they are:
