BELOEIL, QUEBEC--(April 28, 2009) - Fibrocap Inc, well-known manufacturer of Fibrobec fiberglass truck caps and Spacekap, had placed itself under Chapter 11 on September 19, 2008 because of serious financial difficulties. In order to improve and to solve the situation in the long run, the administration worked on a number of adjustments which would ensure the survival of the company. These efforts have started to bear fruits since the company recently obtained a contract worth close to a million dollars. It is because of these changes that Fibrocap Inc. was able to withdraw from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Indeed, the creditors supported the Quebec based company in a major way by accepting the proposal which was presented to them. The contract thus represents the first step towards the recovery of the company.
The next months thus will be well filled for this Quebec based company of Beloeil. Actions were taken at Fibrocap Inc. so that the company can regain its position of being the leader in the Fiberglass industry in North America. For example, the leaders actively worked to minimize, even remove the delays in the deliveries of products, a problem which caused much frustration in the past. "The quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers are of primary importance. We thus implemented concrete measures to respond to the delivery delays our customers expect", mentioned Frederic Blanchet, president and CEO at Fibrocap.
