The inventiveness of the human race is endless and leads us to accomplish great things, but this scotch-powered Nissan LEAF, although successful from a technical point of view, is pretty useless, thank you.

Mark Reynier is the owner of Bruichladdich (keep that name in mind for your next Scrabble game), a Scotland-based distillery that has just reopened its tower business. Luckily for him, he and Nissan partnered to promote its organic single malts, and his self-sufficient business.

Since we wrote an article on the subject, the strategy seems to have worked. However, something tells us it’s wrong to have denatured the true essence of the LEAF. After all, the purpose of having such a vehicle is to save big dollars on fuel, whose price is an absolute bargain compared to single malt scotch.
