It's brand marketing at its finest. Ford and Harley Davidson have been teaming up for years to deliver customers a special edition pickup truck that offers both the capability of an F150 and the cool-factor of the legendary American motorcycle brand.
For 2010, the Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 edition gets a new fascia and grille, new ornamentation and premium amenities throughout its leather-lined cabin. It rolls on 22-inch wheels and rumbles via a sport-tuned dual exhaust system.
Available colors include Tuxedo Black, and a new Ford-first color called 'Lava' which consists of a deep maroon with tri-color metal flake.
Behind the striking body, Ford says this special edition truck is all about offering their customers more.
"Our successful co-branding, unmatched in the industry, offers customers true specialized truck luxury," said Derrick Kuzak, Ford's VP of Global Product Development. "Just like with our other associations, we've linked with an industry leader to offer the best of the best."
The Harley-Davidson F150 will be available in 4x2 or all wheel drive configurations exclusively on the Super-Crew platform. Power comes from a 5.4 liter, 320 horsepower V8 engine in either case.
