Economic crisis be damned! BMW showed their redesigned 7-Series luxury sedan to attendees of the 41st annual Montreal Auto Show earlier today, giving those on hand a personal look at one of the world's most prestigious vehicle models.
Priced from around $105,000, the new 750 will be available in either 'i' or 'Li' designations- indicating either standard or extended wheelbase, respectively.
A new interior, new visuals and plenty of new features are bolted on to attract even the most tech-savvy drivers. The feature list includes radar cruise control, a heads-up display, dynamic xenon lighting and even night-vision.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 4.4 litre V8 that delivers 400 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft of torque. In addition to powerful acceleration, owners can benefit from push-button alteration of their car's ride, thanks to BMW's Dynamic Damper Control system.
Also on hand were the two members of BMW's North American clean diesel lineup. In either the X5 xDrive35d or 335d models, the twin-turbo, three-liter diesel engine delivers 265 horsepower and 425 lb.-ft of torque while using up to a third less fuel than a comparable gas engine.
The clean-diesel powerplant on duty is a multiple international award winner that delivers the refined manners and exciting performance that characterize the brand.
