Chrysler will offer 'S' variants to attract younger customers, giving them the possibility to tune their 200s and 300s with a number of factory-approved parts and accessories, including blacked-out grilles, carbon fibre and red leather.
As you may have guessed, the S packages will be about style, allowing customers to individualize their cars based on their own personality and preferences. Those looking for a 300 Limited, 300 Touring or 300C will therefore have new options to add flair and distinctiveness.
Of all the brands in the Chrysler-Fiat alliance, which also includes Dodge, Jeep and Ram, Chrysler has the thinnest lineup (4 models), lowest volume and oldest buyers (average age of 62).
The entry-level 200 will get the S treatment this spring, while the larger 300 will follow suit later this year. Chrysler has yet to determine whether the Town & Country minivan will offer S variants as well.
