Automaker Dacia has just unveiled an all-new crossover concept, dubbed "Duster," which seems both sporty and heavy-duty.

Its design is futuristic, to say the least. Two colours dominate the passenger compartment, chocolate brown and sky blue. The roof is entirely covered in glass, flooding the compartment with light and creating a convivial and pleasant atmosphere. The front seats are very thin and offer great comfort and support.

Engine-wise, the Dacia Duster features a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel mill equipped with a particle filter that produces 105 hp and 177 ft-lb of torque at 2,000 rpm. Coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, the little engine allows Duster to claim a fuel consumption rating of 5.3 l/100 km and an emissions rating as low as 139 g per 100 km travelled. Not to mention a drag coefficient of barely 0.30.

The Duster is the first concept produced by Dacia and the fruit of close collaboration with Renault.
