It's no secret that MINI is known for its miniature cars. A retired mechanic from New Zealand who goes by the name of Lester Atherfold put the emphasis on his car's name by shrinking it more than two feet so that it could fit inside his RV.

The cherry red version of the 1964 MINI 850 has been shortened from 10' to just 7'10''. Mr. Atherfold can therefore transport the car in his AEC Reliance motorhome instead of towing it during long trips.

''The MINI was the only car in the world that would fit in the motorhome; all the others were too big and tall,'' he said.

To achieve this impressive customization, which included a new engine, transmission, sub-frame, clutch and dashboard from a Clubman, the former mechanic only had to spend $126.

The microscopic 1,100-cc MINI weighs 1,322 pounds but can still reach speeds of up to 120 km/h.
